Today Was an Amazing Day

Today was an absolutely stunning day, the birds were twittering, the sky was clear and the blue color was stronger than ever before.

The temperatures stayed around a comfortable 0 degree celcius, and I was ready to take on the new day.

We headed out early in the morning with the skis we rented out the day before.

It had been two years since I skied last time, and I was not sure how things would go this time.

A lot of things can happen in two years.

We started our first travel blog two years ago, for example, from being excited over ten visitors in one day, now our travel blogs have grown to get over a thousand every day.

When we finally arrived at the ski field and got off the ski lift, I felt that excitement creeping up through my body, I was not nervous, I was just really looking forward to be back on the skis again.

We decided to start with snow plows as that was a good start, but I found myself feeling bored only after a few turns and naturally went on to turn more normally.

After three hours I felt that I was completely back in the old shape and could start where I finished off two years ago rather than having to start from the beginning again.

It is interesting how the body and mind works that way.
