There were no pull-ups and disposable diapers before. All that there were for potty training was the cloth diaper and the potty seat and of course, the regular underwear but they were still able to have a better potty training those days and we are still struggling now on our own potty training despite the fact that we have all these so-called helpful tools in potty training. Come to think of it, although you may not be able to apply everything that the old school potty training suggests, you can always make sure to apply whatever you can so that your potty training will be a better one. My son was only 16 years old when he was arrested for underage drinking along with several of his friends. I wasn’t expecting to have a bridal shower when I told my friends I was getting married. We are all ready for the weekend. I have got The Wizard of Oz matinee tickets for both of us and Kathy has arranged that Elizabeth will stay at her mums for the day. This is going to be the first time she has left her with anyone for more than an hour so she is a bit nervous.
I am trying not to let on that I am just as worried. Not that I do not think her mum can cope as I am sure she can, I mean she raised six kids of her own.
I know that Kathys brother thinks we are too worried about this stuff, but I am a nervous parent. We can not have any more kids so I probably worry more due to that. Maybe it is just part of my nature to worry, I am going to try and forget all that this weekend so we can just enjoy the day out.
One of the things that Sally hated about school is the fact that there seems to be a reporting project on almost all courses. In her Asian Literature class they have an oral report scheduled before Finals and topics were given just after midterm and for Sally, she was given Romance of the Three Kingdoms as her topic. *sigh* In her Political Science class they have a written project which would be the basis for their final grades (they won’t have any final exam anymore) and her topic has something to do with separated parents rights and according to her professor she has to give several cases as examples. Although Sally is a good student she usually makes a lot of complains about all the school work she has been given at school. Shed whine about how unimportant they are in the real world and why bother with all that garbage. But despite all of her whining she would still go about and do them and at the end of the day I think her whining is just her way of releasing her stress.
